2nd Shift Caster - Aerospace $19 per hour / 5% Bonus / $2.00 Shift Differential

CPP Syracuse is looking for full and part-time production workers throughout our facility on 1st shift to join our aerospace team! Positions start at $19 per hour and we offer a quarterly bonus program. We are currently offering $1, 000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

　　CANDIDATES OFFERED EMPLOYMENT ARE REQUIRED TO PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TEST & BACKGROUND STUDY PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT

　　Major Responsibilities Responsible for interpreting melting and casting specifications for an Air melt unit. Ability to set up air and/or vacuum unit to meet required melting parameters. Must be able tolerate high heat temperatures and handling molten metal. Responsible for leading the pouring process Maintain excellent attendance Ability to follow written procedures and standard work Maintain a clean, organized work area Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Solid job history with 1 year at recent or prior employer preferred. Flexible on shift including working swing or weekends. Desire to work with your hands in a production environment. HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possesses relevant experience will be considered. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations. Must take a base line hearing test prior to starting. Some positions require vision screening with or without corrective lenses. Working Conditions: Frequently work near moving mechanical parts. The physical effort applied in this job includes lifting, pulling, reaching, manipulating, carrying, pushing, or shoveling. Manufacturing requires repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and arms.
