Duties
We are looking for a Business Ops. Analyst to join our team!
Summary -
Act on transaction reports, service inquiries and requests from internal and external customers. Examine policy data for straightforward transactions and make appropriate adjustments as instructed.
A typical day will include the following:
Heavily involved in understanding the rating of commercial lines insurance policies.
Documents and tracks results for external resources utilized by the teams.
Supports creation of documentation, instructions and procedures.
Responds to inquiries from users and technical support regarding functions and operations of software changes.
Coordinates testing by business users if necessary.
Participates in analysis and testing of change requests to workflow and system functionality.
Supports the requirements gathering and approval process for new projects, data fixes and enhancements.
Identifies, analyzes, and documents defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have the following:
1+ years of commercial P&C experience
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical skills
Ability to build and maintain business relationships
Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement
Ability to work independently and take initiative
