Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Case Management Assistant Non-Clinical - Administrative role in Oakland, California. The individual will primarily be responsible for assisting the Care Management Team and performing a variety of administrative tasks. This role falls within the healthcare industry and will involve working in an office setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support for care coordination and discharge planning activities

• Ensure accurate and critical information data entry, tracking, and report creation

• Assist in census reconciliation to maintain accurate customer records

• Collaborate with a broad range of health care professionals in a team-based environment

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals from various socioeconomic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in performing duties

• Utilize proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Display strong critical thinking and analytical skills in managing customer inquiries and issues

• Act in a detail-oriented manner as defined by the company’s Standards of Behavior Policy and Procedures

• Use independent judgment and initiative within established policies and procedures

• Apply working knowledge of medical terminology in processing customer credit applications and monitoring customer accounts.

Requirements • Proficiency in Customer Service, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.

• Experience with Data Entry, ensuring accurate and efficient input of information.

• Competence in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Knowledge of Procedures and Policy, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with Medical Coverage policies and Reconciliations.

• Proficiency in English Language, both written and verbal.

• Excellent Communication Skills, able to convey information clearly and effectively.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Ability to Prioritize tasks, managing time and resources effectively.

• Strong Computer Skills, comfortable with using various software and online tools.

• Coordination skills, able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• Experience in Office Administration, ensuring smooth operations.

• Familiarity with Health Care industry, including Case Management.

• Analytical Skills, able to evaluate data and make informed decisions.

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology, facilitating effective communication within the healthcare setting.

• Ability to conduct oneself in a detail oriented manner, maintaining a positive image of the company.
