Gordon, WIDouglas 54838, and worksites within Douglas, Sawyer, Washburn Countiesfrom 04/01/2024 to 12/31/2024 to Help carpenters by carrying tools,wood, making simple wood cuts, nailing simple lumber pieces, positioningwood forms, cleaning up job site. Must be able to lift and carry 80 lbs,20 yds. Must pass criminal background check which will be conductedduring the pre-hire process and carried out equally between us and h-2bworkers. Proper and accurate use of tape measure required. Will beexposed to heights, temperature extremes, strenuous physical activity,and repetitive motions. Will travel to worksites within areas ofintended employment. Must be able to handle extreme temperatures. Noprior education or experience is required. On the job, training will beprovided. \$17.66/hr. Approx. 50 hours/week, from Monday to Saturday6:00am - 5:00pm. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised.The wage rate may vary on experience and/or merit. \$26.49/hr forovertime. Up to 10 hours of overtime may be available but notguaranteed. All deductions from the worker\'s paycheck will be made asrequired by law. The employer will use a single workweek as its standardfor computing wages and pay bi-weekly by check. Any advances will bededucted with the consent of the employee. The employer will providehousing as an option to employees living outside the regular commutingdistance. Employees who elect to live in the housing will have anadditional \$75 deducted bi-weekly from the paycheck for rent andutilities. Optional daily transportation will be provided from and tothe worksite. In the first workweek, the cost of transportation(including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place ofemployment will be directly reimbursed to every worker. If the workercompletes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer willreimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the placeof recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the workcontract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer willprovide or pay for the worker\'s reasonable costs of returntransportation and subsistence back home or to the place the workeroriginally departed to work, except where the worker will not return dueto subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer hasappropriately reported a worker\'s voluntary abandonment of employment.The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal tothe most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distancesinvolved. In the first workweek, daily subsistence for travel to theplace of employment will be reimbursed at a rate of at least \$15.46/dayto a maximum of \$59.00/day with receipts. Also, workers will bereimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, bordercrossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by thegovernment (except passport fees).
