　　Job Description

　　An operating engineer must have a working knowledge for troubleshooting and minor repairs in: plumbing, carpentry, electrical, air conditioning, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.

　　Qualifications

　　If a specific task requires a licenses or certification the Operating Engineer must hold that license or certification.

　　They must be able to read schematics.

　　This position requires: standing, walking, bending, lifting, working from ladders and aerial platform lifts throughout shift.

　　They must be able to follow directions and work schedules.

　　This is a position that the shifts schedule will change to meet the needs of the hotel.

　　They must have good customer service skills.

　　They are required to have all the listed Operating Engineers skills and a mandatory minimum requirement of the following licenses: Universal CFC Certification, City of Pittsburgh Stationary Engineer Class 3 License, and a NIULPE Class 2 Stationary engineer Certification.

　　In addition to these licenses a Master Plumber License is required for this position.

　　Unless noted differently applicants must be able to work all days including AM, PM, weekends & holiday shifts.
