Veterinary Reception, Client Care

　　Mississauga-Oakville Veterinary Emergency Hospital (MOVEH) – Surgery Department is currently welcoming a customer-service-focused Veterinary Reception, Client Care to join our team!

　　This full-time opportunity includes a range of responsibilities involving both hands-on patient care as well as client care. Your primary responsibility is to ensure our clients and their pets feel welcomed, expertly cared for and appreciated! Additional responsibilities and qualities required for this role are:

　　Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and pet parents

　　Placing outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up and help with appointment bookings

　　Respond and manage phone and email correspondence with clients and referring veterinarians as well as managing internal office communication

　　Admitting and discharging pet patients

　　Invoicing/billing; creating and discussing estimates; clearly explaining treatment plans to ensure owner understanding and consent.

　　Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting people at ease and creating a welcoming environment

　　Strong organizational skills

　　General housekeeping duties; cleanliness ofreception area, pet holding areas, and common areas

　　Willingness to learn more regarding veterinary services and updated medical procedures.

　　Working with a team focus, assisting the veterinary staff with various procedures, tasks and treatments.

　　Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
