Angel Home Care Services LLC is searching for three full-time caregivers.
Job Purpose:Taking care of activities of daily living for vulnerable clients in an Adult Family Home (AFH) that cannot take care of themselves when they live by themselves.
Duties:The activities of daily living includes bed mobility; turning and repositioning them in bed, transfers; from bed to wheelchair or from wheelchair to bed, eating; feeding those that cannot feed themselves, toileting; taking them to use the restroom or changing their briefs/diapers, dressing; helping them to dress up or remove their clothings, bathing; helping with shower or personal hygiene, and cutting their toes and fingernails. Also caregivers help with medication management, such as administering their medications at the prescribed time, checking blood sugar, administering insulin shots, applying ointments and treating small wounds. Caregivers schedule appointments and transportation for the clients to see their doctors and also shop for them.
Skills/Qualifications:- Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Nursing Skills, Health Care Administration, Patient Services, Verbal Communication, Listening, Training, Dependability, Emotional Control etc.- No previous experience required. A 2 hour on-the-job training on CPR will be provided to the worker.- Minimum education required: High school/GED certificate of completion.
The work days can vary. Caregiver must work 40 hours a week.Hourly work scheduled at 10 hours, from 7am to 6pm.Expected start date: April 1st, 2024Expected end date: December 31, 2024
Benefits:- Accommodation at the facilities will be provided for the caregivers, at Spanaway, WA State.- Workers will be paid bi-weekly. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law and none further. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.- No overtime available for this opportunity.- Sponsorship available: The employer will reimburse the H--2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H--2B worker (but need not include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker).- The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
