JOB TITLE: Personal Caregiver

　　MUSTS: Must be comfortable working in client's home with pets. Must beable to help with intimate care.Must be able to work a combination of day/night/weekend shifts.

　　SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Caregiving experience particularly with theelderly/disabled, reliable transportation, flexibility and patience,and ability to pass background checks. Knowledge of assisting clients withADLs, organized, have good communication skills.

　　DUTIES:Assisting client with ADLs (activities of daily living), includingbathing and self-care, dressing, teeth/denture care, foot and handcare, and administering medication.Assisting client with meal preparation and planning, ensuring healthyeating habits, encouraging water/fluid intake.Assisting client in keeping their personal space and possessions organizedand clean (bedroom, bathroom, and laundry).Assisting client in developing clear routines, with prompts andorganizational tools.Providing client with physical and mental stimulus, including assistancewith therapies, exercises, and activities.Transporting client to appointments or activities as needed.

　　WAGES: $20.00 / hr

　　SHIFT: Varies, approx. 30 hrs a week. To include evening, night, orweekends. This will be discussed at interview.
