JOB SUMMARY Works in conjunction with the Cardiac testing specialist to provide diagnostic cardiac stress tests . Also performs other noninvasive cardiac testing, including EKGs, Holter, event and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. Education:Completion of an accredited allied health, medical assistant program or equivalent. Associates degree in exercise or health science preferred. Experience:1-2 years in a cardiology healthcare setting with experience as an EMT, Medical Assistant or other allied health field. Experience in EKG or stress testing preferred. Licensure, Certification, Registration:CCI certification (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) eligible; Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) certification preferred.
