Job Summary:
The Cardiac Technician assists in the delivery of care to the patient undergoing cardiac catheterization, ensuring optimum patient outcomes while achieving patient and family satisfaction. Assists physicians with various procedures performed in the Cath Lab. Read, be familiar with, participate in periodic education/training regarding, and comply with the Corporate Compliance Program, Code of Conduct, and other corporate compliance policies.
Job Qualifications/Education/Training/Certification/Licensure:
High School Graduate or GED required.
Radiology Technologist/Cardiovascular Technologist school graduate or equivalent required.
Experience within a healthcare setting required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
