Job Summary:
Textron Corporate Aviation is seeking a Captain to crew a Citation Longitude and X in support of its operations at Textron Corporate.This role offers exciting opportunities, including training for a Citation X type rating, and rewarding challenges. The person selected will join a team of passionate, high caliber aviators, maintenance and operations staff and should be a self-starter, team player, and professionally driven. The Captain/PIC will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of company aircraft while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations, rules, directives, company procedures, and aircraft flight manuals.
Responsibilities:
Act as PIC/Co-Captain on company aircraft
Responsible for the safe and efficient use of assigned aircraft.
Maintain a high level of communication with all team members.
Maintain a superior level of operational knowledge of the department to maintain proper adherence to SOPs.
Support a positive work environment and open avenues of communication.
Discusses operational concerns with team members to improve efficiency.
Keep up to date on airplane/equipment manufacturers and government regulations affecting flight operations to ensure that company manuals adhere to legal requirements and are adapted to type of aircraft in use.
Participate in the department’s Safety Management System ongoing evolution to improve overall safety and efficiency.
Always represent the company in a professional manner.
Must have the ability and willingness to work irregularschedules as assigned and to support other Textron Inc. divisions.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (Multi-Engine)
Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate
Prefer a minimum of 2500 total flight hours
Prefer a minimum of 500 fixed-wing turbine hours
Jet aircraft Pilot-in-command skills
Experience with corporate flight operations
Knowledge of Safety Management System Implementation
International flight experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic; ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
