ABOUT THE ROLE
This position will serve as regional coordinator of the manufacturing Capex management process in the department of Performance and Planning for Manufacturing support. The work location can be one of the Holcim US Cement Plants.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Ensure that group safety and security policies are implemented and adhered to in areas of management. Upholding the highest standards in health and safety and acting as a role model.
Manage the regional capex system, working closely with the regional finance team, Geocycle and country Capex managers to ensure alignment and required long term planning. Define regional systems and best practice.
Deliver training and ensure compliance and correct utilization of the group and regional Capex management processes and tools (One PPM).
Guide and deliver annual manufacturing business cycle processes such as PDP and MTP, providing strategic support and guidance to regional manufacturing organizations.
Reports monthly on the status of all projects and review forecasts and approvals into the correct business and CAPEX management systems.
Test new modules in One PPM and add user with the different rights.
RFA1 approval. Review documents, placeholders, financial planning and all the information related before full approval of the project.
Follow up of Capex forecast monthly with the projects managers of the Region.
Reporting and alignment with PM&E for North America.
Close support and help to the projects managers in all the Capex process.
Implement any change or new process related with Capex and project management.
Other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Engineering
Required Work Experience: 5 years manufacturing experience, project management experience, strong communication and coordination skills
Required Computer and Software Skills: SAP PR, Microsoft Office, SAP OnePPM, Data studio, Database reporting, and proficient knowledge in Excel
Travel Requirements: 30%

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment (“PPE”), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
