　　Description

　　Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work - Kids Summer Camp July 1st through approximately August 1st - Monday 8:00 am Saturday at 4:00 pm

　　Qualifications - Must be a High School graduate or adequate experience. Must be at least 18 years of age. Prior camp experience and/or experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

　　Relevant Certifications - CPR & First Aid Training provided

　　Work Authorization/Security Clearance -Authorized to work in the United States and pass all background clearances.

　　Summary/Objective - Camp Counselors are to provide campers with adequate supervision and assistance to ensure all needs are met during their stay at Dodge Pond.

　　Essential Functions - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

　　Maintain visual or verbal communications capabilities with campers during activities and account for assigned camper’s whereabouts at all times.

　　Assist campers with ADL skills, as needed.

　　Report any injury or illness to Health Officer.

　　Ensure all campers’ immediate needs are met.

　　Encourage campers to participate in program areas, and assist as needed.

　　Maintain campers’ general areas in an orderly fashion.

　　Maintain proper staff to camper ratios after-hours.

　　Ensure proper supervision at all times.

　　Attend all Inservice/staff meetings.

　　Complete other duties as assigned by Camp Director and or Asst. Camp Director

　　Work Environment -This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
