Who we are
The Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management (KNSM) is one of the largest academic departments at Texas A&M University. As one of four departments in the School of Education & Human Development, KNSM is currently home to over 1468 undergraduate students, 175 master’s students, 57 doctoral students (1700 total), and 87 funded graduate assistants. KNSM is an active member of the American Kinesiology Association (AKA). The department joins in the efforts of the AKA to promote the discipline of Kinesiology as a field of study and to highlight its applications that affect all through research to enhance people's health. What we want
Camp Counselor for Camp Adventure is a temporary, part-time job which will operate from the end of May 2024 and extend through Mid-June 2024. The Camp Counselor will spend the day with the same group of campers every day and take them to each activity, and spend the day leading a specific activity or activities. What you need to know

Required Education:
High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experienceRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with othersPreferred Experience:
Experience working with kids from the ages of 8-12Preferred Licenses and Certifications:
CPR and First Aid certificationResponsibilities:
Assist with Camp Adventure by spending the day with a group of campers and bringing the campers to each activity.
Spends the day leading a specific activity or activities .
