In thishands-on field position, you will learn from the best the art of cableinstallation in new construction, existing infrastructures, factories,and medical facilities where you will install, troubleshoot, and work asa team to get the job done. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Installation of low-voltage cabling such as voice, data, security,paging, nurse-call systems, fiber optic, etc. Cross connect cablePerform fiber splicing and termination of cable according to color codesTest for polarity, connectivity, and repair Install racks and patchpanels Set up computer rooms Process paperwork accurately and timelyMaintain compliance with company and OSHA safety standardsEducation/Skills/Job Experience Requirements: At least 18 years of ageHigh School diploma or GED Solid attention to detail with goodfollow-through Ability to work in a team environment with demonstratedpositive attitude Must have valid driver\'s license in good standing, avehicle, and proof of automobile insurance with the ability to commuteto various job sites Flexibility of work hours - Shifts can vary basedon customer demands and may include, but is not limited to: occasionalnights, weekends, and holidays. Successfully pass pre-employmentscreening Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, lift, twist, turn, andcrawl into tight spaces such as desks, cubicles, and ceilings.
