Pay Rate: $35/hr to $40/hr (dependent on experience)
1 Year Contract (with possibility of extension)

What’s a typical day as a Buyer? You’ll be:
• Assigning and processing spot requisitions to procure goods and services in our SAP system.
• Issuing and soliciting RFQs to suppliers, verifying delivery capabilities, and negotiating price and conditions.
• Interacting with clients and suppliers to address any issues related to delivery, quantity, quality, etc.
• Responding to inquiries from clients and business owners.
• Assisting with invoice matters and reviewing control reports.
• Running open commitment reports and closing orders that are no longer valid.
• Resolving auto-release failures and reconciling goods receipt/invoice receipt issues.
• Updating prices with suppliers according to pre-negotiated contract clauses.
• Performing other duties as required by the department.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree (preferred but not necessary).
• Have 4-6 years of procurement and purchasing experience.
• Possess effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Have moderate negotiation skills.
• Are proficient with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office Tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
