[FEU].The Asset Information department is responsible for all business aspects information/data associated with FirstEnergy (FE) substation equipment. This position will support data standards, data analytics, quality monitoring, and daily operation and management of substation equipment records.This position reports to the Supervisor, Asset Information and is located in Akron, Ohio.Responsibilities include:Demonstrate a solid commitment to a safe workplace for coworkers and the community based upon knowledge of potential hazards and industry regulation requirements.Document process improvements and efficiencies to improve work products including the development of standards and guidelines.Analyze and recommended processes to align disparate data across many different FE software systems.Maintain the integrity and data standards for 500,00+ substation equipment records and related data in multiple databases, including Cascade and other asset systems.Cascade equipment entry and data quality monitoring.Utilize Power BI Reports.Run data queries against system data.Engage in open, honest, direct, and ongoing conversation amongst team members.Participate in corporate hazard response for storm restoration.Qualifications include:High School Diploma or GED required. Associate or Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2 years professional work experience is preferred.Work with large multi-disciplinary teams to maintain asset life cycle records.Ability to work cooperatively with others and to provide excellent customer service, as well as work independently.Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively convey information to various levels in the organization.Analytical abilities involving complex problems; exercise sound judgment; detail oriented.Demonstrate a questioning attitude to continue to learn, produce results, and strengthen existing relationships.Highly proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.Familiarity with relational databases is preferred.Familiarity with either or all - Cascade / Power BI / SAP is preferred.Ability to travel throughout the FirstEnergy footprint as needed.Familiarity of transmission substation equipment and related attributes and configuration is preferred.Benefits, Compensation & Workforce DiversityAt FirstEnergy, employees are key to our success.
