EXTERNAL JOB DUTIES
Build relationships with local employers and consult with them on their needs, challenges and opportunities to provide concrete solutionsIdentify new and emerging businesses in our area that can utilize our servicesOversee work readiness training to include workplace basics, professional conduct, employer expectations, problem solving, for participantsFacilitate appropriate wok placements assignments and document accommodation requests for each participant as necessaryMonitor participants throughout the course of work assignment to ensure continued successful participationMaintain records to include invoicing, program planning, and service deliveryExpand the reach of our market by broadening our scope of services to include Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act youth/adult educational/programmatic solutionsDevelop community partnerships with other social services organizations in order to drive better participation and recruitmentCoordinate with Team members to connect employment opportunities with qualified and interested customersPartner with Chambers of Commerce and Economic Development Councils to identify opportunities to improve and expand servicesHold major career hiring events quarterly as well as structured hiring events for individual employers on siteINTERNAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Human Services, Business, or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent experienceTwo years plus of experience in business or public administrationMust be process-driven, analytical, and solution-focusedMust be a team player and model LEGACY PrinciplesHave knowledge of community resources to address potential barriers of job seekers. Be familiar with human service, vocational rehabilitation, and disability issues and service competenciesHave strong written and oral communication skills. Be able to present solutions in a one-on-one or group environment. Have strong presentation sk llsModerate Travel. Must have valid Driver's License, Auto Insurance, and must meet company driving standardsADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES
Manages a caseload of participants and provides counseling and mentoringAssesses participant competencies, work history, educational attainment, skills and abilities; identifies challenges to finding employment and prompts them to find solutionsConducts regular ongoing individual meetings with participants for job search, education, job retention, and/or job readinessCompletes an individualized overview of available services and works with participant to create an employment plan for short- and long-term goals
