  BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST LEAD

  WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

  The Senior Business Analyst's focus of this position is to work closely with City National Bank Divisions as it aligns with the enterprise strategic priorities by leading and facilitating workshops with stakeholders to gain in-depth understanding of business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates and provide solutions to both tactical and strategic needs. This role works with Process & Product Owners and Process Managers across the Enterprise to 1) document process and data flows utilizing lean six sigma tools and methodologies , Agile and/or Scaled Agile (SaFE) as well as gathering and documenting business requirements 2) partner to identify and drive process improvements/transformations. Position will develop both written and visual depictions of project requirements and process flows. Works on moderately complex to complex issues and projects and processes. 3) Will also project manage engagements according to the project management body of knowledge framework (PMP-PMBOK) and/or Agile framework. 4) Facilitate design thinking workshops to help define and/or support solutions recommendations to stakeholders 5) Design, create, develop relevant reporting and data analysis to support engagements 6) Generate and package effective and impactful presentations for stakeholders utilizing a storyboard framework

Servicing and operations professionals seek to transform and define an integrated support model through automation and cutting-edge digital technologies, to deliver an excellent experience for our clients and businesses.

  What you will do

  Gather input from stakeholders, via interviews, facilitated requirements workshops, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process analysis, work flow and task analysis, ensuring the right questions are asked to produce essential requirements, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, etc.Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements to meet scalability, risk management, and quality goals.Work collaboratively across the business functions to challenge current state processes, and test and develop innovative future state processes, while understanding and communicating upstream/downstream impact of proposed changes.Lead training plan development, developing user documentation (e.g. checklists, reference guides, etc.), and user training to ensure sustainability of enhanced processes and controls.Assist with remediating process and control gaps and issues, including analyses of potential enhancements to the original approach, to determine and build the best solution available within constraints and capabilities.Collaborate with the Process Documentation team to document each process, sub-process, and corresponding controls, which includes procedures, desktop procedures, process with control maps, metrics with guardrails, on-going monitoring routines, and issue escalation processes.Communicate project status and milestone completion to Manager and key business stakeholders.Assist with defining the change management / user adoption strategy and metrics.Support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of tools, templates, and best practices that support process and control improvement activities.Support a high-performance environment by fostering an inclusive work environment, helping/elevating peers, and taking ownership of individual developmental goals.Act as brand ambassador of the Business Process & Controls Improvement team by developing solid working relationships across the organization as to facilitate communication and strategic partnerships.Contribute to ad-hoc assignments and special projects.

  Must-Have

  Bachelor's DegreeBachelors or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 8 -12 years of experience in financial services with a good understanding of the fundamental principles of banking, project management, business analysis, and strategic change.Minimum of 2 years in operations, risk management, quality assurance, compliance, or an internal control/audit capacity

  Skills and Knowledge

  Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAdvanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (required), including Microsoft, PowerPoint, Excel; preferably also Microsoft VisioExcellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple prioritiesAbility to work independently and in a self-directed mannerAbility to interact with all levels of management

  Compensation

  Starting base salary: $101,231 - $172,355 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
