Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Our MISSION is to help ensure the security of the United States and its allies by providing high-hazard experimentation and incident response capabilities through operations, engineering, education, field, and integration services and by acting as environmental stewards to the Site’s Cold War legacy. Responsibilities
We are looking for a high performing individual with an attention to detail to become our Business Process Analyst I to provide support to the Mission Development Directorate.
Key Responsibilities
Review requests from organizations to improve business process information system through new or existing automation.
Apply knowledge and principals though a systems approach.
May collect, assemble, and analyze requirements to meet the needs of the organization.
May assist with project documentation.
May perform data entry and processes request for information through reporting capabilities.
Perform a wide range of routine to complex administrative tasks with minimal supervision.
Coordinate and maintain status of specialized documents, databases, records, and file directly related to management policies, and support of assigned organization in compliance with organizational, company, and NNSA regulations.
Monitor all follow-up actions required by supervisor/manager.
Perform tasks of a specialized nature to research, analyze, and develop projects and assignments.
Extract data from reference material; compile, analyze, and prepare or help prepare information for studies or reports.
Organize and assist in preparing material for meetings, presentations, and training sessions.
Assist with routine procurement functions for the group and track expenditures for delivery.
Act as a proxy for the organization timekeeping activities.
Perform related work as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent training and experience.
Ability to observe, receive, and obtain information from all relevant sources.
Highly organized to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish assigned projects.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with internal and external contacts, representing the organization in a tactful, professional, and effective manner.
Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with team members and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in the use of software applications including Microsoft Office and general office equipment.
Proficient in the use of virtual and hybrid meeting technologies, such as Teams and WebEx.
Able to deal with pressure of handling multiple tasks, complaints, frequent interruptions, and time constraints.
Knowledge of basic math, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Able to communicate with all types of people in a tactful, professional, and effective manner while screening and maintaining confidentiality.
Able to follow oral and written instruction and follow through on all assignments.
The primary work location will be at the Losee Road facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
The work schedule is designated as 4/10s, Monday - Thursday (subject to change).
Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
Must have a valid driver's license.
MSTS is required by DOE directive to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications. Applicants offered employment with MSTS are also subject to a federal background investigation to meet the requirements for access to classified information or matter if the duties of the position require a DOE security clearance. Substance abuse or illegal drug use, falsification of information, criminal activity, serious misconduct or other indicators of untrustworthiness can cause a clearance to be denied or terminated by DOE, resulting in the inability to perform the duties assigned and subsequent termination of employment. In addition, Applicants for employment must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship, at least 18 years of age. If you hold more than one citizenship (i.e., of the U.S. and another country), your ability to obtain a security clearance may be impacted.
Department of Energy Q Clearance (position will be cleared to this level). Reviews and tests for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR Part 707.4 (http://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-idx?SID=14b1c770db022992d237769fbe9fc519&mc=true&node=se10.4.707_14&rgn=div8) , “Workplace Substance Abuse Programs at DOE Sites,” will be conducted. Applicant selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation, required to participate in subsequent reinvestigations, and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified matter. Successful completion of a counterintelligence evaluation, which may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination, may also be required. Annual salary range for this position is: $50,668.80 to $76,003.20.
Starting salary is determined based on the position market value, the individual candidate education and experience and internal equity.
