The Business Planning Role within WW Real Estate (WWRE) serves as a program leader on numerous business topics across the portfolio of the team. The role will focuses specifically on Global Realty Development (GRD) within WWRE. The group's mission is to deliver building and engineering expertise, resources, and products in addition to change and cost evaluations that exceed industry standards to internal Amazon customers. Its vision is to ensure that it is leveraged as WWRE's single threaded owner and expert on all products and services associated with building design, building engineering, design change and optimized cost evaluation for Amazon's existing and planned real estate portfolio. This includes:-Managing the deliverables of SPS, OP1, OP2, xBR, and 3 Year Plan for a specific segment within WWRE.-Executing the annual goals planning processImplement systems ensuring strong follow-up management occurs on action items and questions with relevant senior leaders-Management of competing priorities across a wide range of stakeholders-Ensuring time is focused on the highest value activities and issues-Building and managing agendas for leadership meetings and off sites-Providing an independent perspective, and acting as a sounding-board for ideas-Creating content for periodical update emails and all-hands meetings as well as internal and external presentationsWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Bellevue, WA, USA- 7+ years of program or project management experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field- Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask- Confidence operating independently and working with ambiguity- Excellent communication skills - in person and written- Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment- Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with technical employees- Internal Amazon experienceOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
