Overview
The Business Operations Support Lead in the HR and Corporate Systems portfolio serves as an escalation point of contact for our critical business systems and applications affecting day-to-day operations and serves as a primary point of contact supporting testing and roll out of new product capabilities. The Business Operations Support Lead is responsible for application administration, system configuration, optimization, and change management, as well as initiating, tracking, and managing escalations to the product and technology team. This position manages transition of support to the operations team and/or MSP for steady state operations. This position manages a range of different types of enterprise systems which requires broad business process and systems thinking to ensure our systems are integrated, optimized and available for our business teams. This position has supervisory responsibility of business operations analysts.
This position will work closely with the product teams, business operations teams and business partners to enhance configurable system processes and automation flows that ensure operational efficiency and maintain a positive user experience.
Responsibilities
Configure and maintain business systems.
Document and maintain configuration files and business system documentation and records.
Configure, monitor, report, and audit automated processes to ensure systems and processes perform as expected and adhere to SLA agreements and State and Federal laws and regulations.
Monitor production issues and serve as business escalation POC for all operational issues and escalations from the service desk or MSP to the product team for problem management.
Assist product teams with the planning, evaluation, and implementation of functionality and features.
Provides leadership and direction to direct reports and assigns work, as appropriate.
Responsible for development, evaluation and performance management of direct reports.
Serves as application system administrator and may lead small scale enhancement projects or updates on behalf of the product teams.
Partner with product teams to help coordinate system testing and ensure enhancements of systems and integrations run accurately and efficiently according to business requirements.
Support release roll-out and deployment plans, contingencies, and back-out plans.
May be assigned an Electric Utilities emergency and storm role. This is a special assignment that comes into play during storms and other emergencies when the company needs to restore power or respond to other issues affecting HR service. This role may necessitate the need to work after-hours, outside of your normal schedule.
The company reserves the right to determine if this position will be assigned to work on-site, remotely, or a combination of both. Assigned work location may change. In the case of remote work, physical presence in the office/on-site may be required to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among direct reports and co-workers.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of work experience on a year-for-year basis is required.
Experience:
Minimum of seven (7) years of related work experience is required.
Detail-oriented, curious, and a proactive problem solver.
Capable of working under pressure with tight deadlines.
Functions well in a team environment and can also work independently.
Strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to think “big picture” without losing sight of the details.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Information Technology preferred.
