  Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Business Operations Specialist supporting the Boeing Converted Freighters (BCF) Leader within Commercial Mods, Engineering Services and Specialty Products (CMESP). This position can be executed from either Long Beach, CA or Seattle, WA . In this capacity, the selected candidate will assist in the development of program strategies, program operating rhythms, integrated data solutions, and process improvements. To be successful in this position, the selected candidate must be able to support multiple functions at the executive level, have an agile mindset, exceptional organizational skills, a working knowledge of Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) & Lean, and a positive and flexible attitude. Progressive outlook, problem solving abilities and strong Seek, Speak and Listen (SSL) behaviors will be required. Occasional travel may also be required.

  This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform hybrid schedule 3 days in office at either the Long Beach, CA or Seattle, WA Site. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

  This candidate must have the ability to support non-standard business hours late evening/early morning meetings (due to time zone differences with team in Middle East market)

  Position Responsibilities :

  Support in the development and execution of strategy, communications, and operating rhythm for Boeing Converted Freighters team in Commercial Programs

  Facilitates communication and collaborative efforts between BGS Business Operations, BGS Program Management, Boeing Functional partners and customers to meet joint objectives

  Project management of digital transformation efforts

  Ensures organizational alignment with Boeing processes, Program Management Best Practices, and compliance requirements

  Supports Leader in various meetings (primarily internal) to ensure that meetings are running efficiently and to ensure that meeting actions are tracked through to completion

  Manages / identifies Risks, Issues and Opportunities (RIO); facilitates execution of mitigation plans and tracks at the Executive Program Manager level

  Works directly with Leader and leadership team to storyboard program health, blockers and requirements being presented to Senior Executives of BGS Program Management on a monthly basis

  Builds relationships with Program leadership, functional partners, and customer counterparts

  Strong time management, collaboration, decision-making, and leadership strengths in written and verbal communications

  Special Projects and ad-hoc tasks assigned as required

  Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  Bachelor’s degree or higher

  3+ years’ experience in a role requiring project management (or program management support skillset)

  Experience with creating and delivering presentations to Executives

  Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  5+ years’ experience in a role requiring project management or program management support skillset

  Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data

  Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

  Experience developing and reporting performance metrics

  Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

  Understands Program Management Best Practices and how and when to apply them

  Experience working across organizations and cross-functional groups to ensure project coordination, implementation, and completion

  Typical Education & Experience:

  Experienced (Level 3):

  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

  Senior (Level 4):

  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

  Relocation:

  This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  Level 3 Summary pay range: $69,300- $128,700

  Level 4 Summary pay range: $85,680- $159,120

  Export Control Requirements: U.S. Government Export Control Status: This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.

  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
