As a Portfolio Risk Business Manager in Consumer Community Banking Risk Modeling, you will be responsible for providing business management support, managing staff functions, ensuring compliance with model governance policies and procedures, and maintaining a strong controls environment. This role will report to Head of Portfolio Risk Modeling.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain the book of work for an line of business modeling team including managing project and program timelines, working with cross functional teams to support model development and implementation, escalating and resolving issues, and providing executive level status reporting.
Manage executive summary reporting including business reviews, weekly updates, regulatory, and ad-hoc requests for senior management.
Accurately manage headcount, expense budget and efficiency targets.
Ensure compliance with model related policies, procedures, and tools.
Provide support for model review process and ongoing model performance testing.
Develop executive management presentations for meetings, town halls and road shows.
Create and maintain controls across CCB (Consumer Community Banking) Risk Modeling including providing support for audits and regulatory reviews.
Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; experience in risk, finance and regulatory a plus.
Knowledge of Consumer Banking products and services.
Basic understanding of analytics and modeling function.
Strong end-to-end project management skills from business case development through implementation.
Demonstrated excellent analytical, problem resolution and decision-making skills
