The Business Intelligence Reporting Manager will manage the Loan Servicing Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting team, working collaboratively with the Loan Servicing management team to deliver sustainable reporting solutions with optimal end user performance.​ Work collaboratively with the Director of Loan Servicing Analytics to establish and develop business objectives, goals and plans. Manage and allocate employee resources effectively and provide leadership to staff including counseling, training and development, salary administration, selection and/or approval of selected personnel, and disciplinary action. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $110,000.00/yr to $130,000.00/yr plus annual bonus.

What you’ll do:

Manage the day-to- day operations of the BI Reporting Analytics group to ensure high quality and timely reporting for the business.

Balance day-to-day assignments and allocate resources to support business unit reporting requests.

Implement strategies from high-level management and requests to develop reporting that carry significant organizational influence within Loan Servicing.

Provide strategic planning, management and oversight over special projects and development efforts.

Execute medium-to long-term business plans and objectives for the department and division.

Contribute towards the development of department business plans and corporate objectives.

Maintain frequent contact with other department managers and senior management to ensure a collaborative approach to all projects.

Manage BI development staff in all phases of reporting development, implementation and support.

Keep abreast of best practices and new technologies, emerging trends, techniques and ideas.

Provide leadership, guidance, and assist the development of team members with their assignments.

Partner with business units and users to translate requirements into practical solutions.

Manage the design, development and deployment of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), including analytical reporting and comprehensive executive and operational dashboards.

Create and maintain document processes, reports, applications, and procedures as per department policies and procedures.

Assist in and lead the development and maintenance a variety of BI components including SSRS Reports, SSAS Cubes, T-SQL Stored Procedures and functions.

Expert working knowledge of enterprise solutions using Microsoft’s Business Intelligence suite including SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

Expert knowledge of T-SQL programming and scripting

Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills to effectively communicate and interact with personnel at all levels throughout the organization

Ability to effectively communicate complex material by visual means

Ability to manage multiple assignments, including assessing risks, developing work plans, prioritizing, and scheduling work activities to support concurrent projects

Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions

Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the department’s credibility, operations, and services

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, software design, management information systems, engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.

Master’s Degree preferred.

Typical technical experience at this level:

Two (2) or more years in a supervisory/managerial role.

Eight (8) or more years’ IT experience with a strong focus on BI Reporting solutions.​

Eight (8) or more years’ experience with software development tools.

Eight (8) years’ experience with database management systems – MS SQL.

Five (5) or more years’ experience with Microsoft BI applications (SSRS,SSAS).

Three (3) or more years’ experience with ETL tools - Microsoft SSIS.
