General Summary
As part of the COLSA Business Intelligence (BI) Cell, you will assist in providing detailed research, analysis, and presentation of information to further COLSA's business development efforts.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
Research and report on key customer, competitor and industry insights that can help inform business strategy and the evolving marketing roadmaps*
Support the development of business intelligence materials, technology and processes*
Assists with a wide range of duties in the field*
Assists with creation and analysis of routine projects, programs, policies and procedures*
Performs assigned intern projects and follows them to completion*
Supports more experienced personnel*

Required SkillsRequired Experience
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
Currently enrolled in college pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Business Development, Data Analytics, Marketing, or similar field
Must be willing and able to relocate to Huntsville, AL at his/her own expense for duration of internship
Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
US Citizenship required. Must pass a criminal background check prior to start
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience/projects related to: customer and/or competitor analysis
Qualitative Analysis
Development of business intelligence materials, technology and processes
