Start your day knowing it probably won't be typical and brand new tasks notlisted below are bound to come up.
Prepare various types of cables.
Install fiber-optic lines and various types of splice closures.
A little dust can have a big impact, you'll field polish connectors toimprove service consistency.
Single fiber splicing.
Re-adapt. Then re-adapt again. No two days are the same.
Competently operate a light source and power meter.
Identify different types of equipment such as telephone systems, faxmachines, IP related equipment, set top boxes, wireless routers,network switches and ensure functionality of all equipment.
Maintain and inspect equipment at installation and troubleshoot effectively toquickly correct problems with service.
Ensure that all cables and cable accessories required for television,internet, and phone are working properly and are in good working condition.
Go the extra mile at every opportunity for the customer.
A gym membership isn't required but you will be expected to lift up to 80pounds.
Colorado Residents: typical pay range for this role will be from $20.00 -$24.00 per hour depending on experience.
Here's what you'll prove at the interview:
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associates degree or 2-4 years' equivalent work experience
EXPERIENCE:
Ability to learn and grasp new concepts on the job
Clean MVR to drive ALLO Communications vehicles
Ability to work evenings and weekends
Here's what you'll bring to our team:
General Knowledge of Microsoft OS
Ability to troubleshoot and work through problems in a logical manner
Understanding of email clients and how to configure them
Experience in wire fishing and pulling
No fear of heights or tight spaces
Ability to lift 80 lbs.
Knowledge and ability to work with power tools
Time management and organizational skills
