The Business Development Manager's objectives include obtaining Right of Entry Agreements, Access Agreements or Easements with building owners/landlords by fostering business relationships with developers and property managers throughout the Astound Commercial markets in the Greater Seattle market. The Business Development Manager will negotiate building access agreements with these customers to formalize the relationship with Astound, ensure favorable terms are established for Astound and deliver top quality customer service to partners. They will also work and coordinate with the direct sales team so the proper targeted buildings are secured, prioritized and handed off successfully to Sales for revenue generation.A Day in the Life of the Business Development Manager:Negotiate Access Agreement for Commercial multi-tenant buildings, meeting/exceeding monthly targets for number of buildings/units assignedImplement successful strategies to drive expansion of "on-net" commercial buildings in existing and new marketsTarget, identify and develop strategic revenue-producing partnerships and alliancesEvaluate and support business development opportunities identified by our Enterprise sales channelDevelop market analysis and business case to support expansion opportunitiesBuild relationships with strategic partners and organizationsWork effectively with sales engineering/network deployment team to ensure timely review, assessment and deployment of all leadsBe aware of ALL new leads, market developments and potential target buildings, current or future. This will include (but not limited to) the following activities:Business District walkthroughsInitiating and attending networking eventsGeneral up to date knowledge of MTU market within territoryAttend various business and association functions within territory, including some evening eventsConvey building lead information efficiently to support personnel and ensure all order information is entered accurately and within 24 hoursComplete all Access Agreement paperwork, providing the owner/operator with a scheduled installation which has been stipulated by engineering andComplete all paperwork and agreements accurately, legibly and thoroughlyMaintain and demonstrate a current knowledge of Enterprise products, programming, promotional offers, technology and deployment specificationsProvide exceptional customer service at all timesManage CRM systems, process, and quality of dataProduce CRM output reports as requested by managementMaintain updated sales funnel records, logging notes, contact information & activitiesProject a professional business manner and operate with a high degree of integrityOther duties as assignedWhat You Bring to the Table:5+ years prior experience managing business accounts in either a sales or customer service environmentExperience working in Telecommunications/Real Estat
