Responsibilities:
Act as the first contact window for local customers in Australia/New Zealand and to be the interface/bridge between Asia Key Account Management team and clients
Identify opportunities for company's products and services from different client users, develop client relationship, promote company services, join exhibition and participate in trade shows or other sales/ marketing events to increase market penetration
Make recommendations to the Management on business development activity and on how the company can improve the marketability of its products/services in the Australian market
Collect market intelligence in terms of client sourcing trend, industrial practice, competitor information to drive sustainable growth in Australian key account and other potential market segments
Establish and maintain productive and professional client relationships with Product Integrity / Quality Assurance / Sourcing / Sustainability decision makers at Senior & Executive Level
Be the door opener for new customer acquisitions and seek for participation in tenders
Consult clients depending on their actual business needs
Support with full mapping of the client organization and decision makers for Bureau Veritas Consumer Products services
Visit and travel to clients’ head office to connect with the teams in person
Evaluate client operations and identify new business opportunities for BV CPS
Handle daily inquiries from customers and forward them to Asia Key Account Management team based in Hong Kong
Cold call and cold email entirely new companies where we have no exposure yet
Visit local trade shows in order to connect to potential buyers and exhibitors
Attend networking events organized by big retailers, organizations and chambers
Pitch our services related to IAC, IAA, Testing, Sustainability
Handle potentially sample pick up and send to our internal labs for product testing
Job Requirements:
Degree holder or above in any discipline
At least 10 years relevant work experience in sales, retail, consultancy, client services, relationship management in Australia, preferably in Testing, Inspection and Certification industry
Prior experience working with small, medium size and large clients across diverse geographies would be an advantage
Able to interpret technical information and translate into common terminology
Native/ Very strong English speaker
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Energetic, efficient, motivated self-starter
Must possess strong work ethic and excellent client service skills to ensure effective and responsive client interaction (internal and external)
Expected working hours: Part-time basis, 3 days per week
