BUSINESS STRATEGY & INITIATIVES MANAGER- PBB COMMUNITY BANKING
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
This position is supporting all strategic and tactical business initiatives in execution surrounding the growth and success of Business Community Banking, which may include projects related to sales, service, marketing, technology, and others as identified. Develops and maintains models, analytics, processes and tools to inform performance analysis, identify new optimization opportunities, and support business decisions, track financial results of the optimization efforts. The incumbent will serve as key contact for all partners and stakeholders and works closely with project team(s) and directly or indirectly provides representation on committees, task forces and project teams as assigned. The position will also be responsible to serve as the subject matter expert to such initiatives.

What you will do
Support Head of Business Community Banking in execution on initiatives and expansion of Business Community Banking team within PBB, manage sales support staff, support recruiting efforts, and onboarding of new colleagues. Ensure processes are integrated to support client service and to ensure their ongoing needs are met.
Business Community Banking verticals include CRA, SBA, Small Business, Special Purpose Credit Program for Small Business, CFPB 1071 rule and business product enhancements.
Work closely with project team(s) as new processes are developed. Take the lead on partnering with risk and compliance in documenting and creating policies and procedures to successfully execute the processes and ongoing initiatives.
Develop models and tools for key performance indicators (KPI) analysis of such initiatives.
Performs analysis to identify and quantify new profitability optimization opportunities, including revenue and efficiencies
Leads design and execution of optimization initiatives in close collaboration with business partners
Leads change management activities related to profitability optimization including socialization of concepts, communication with leadership teams across the bank, trainings
Prepares and delivers executive level presentations to inform business decisions
Prioritize, lead, and manage projects as assigned.
Manages professional services activities related to optimization projects incl. scoping work, oversight of projects and deliverables
Develop presentations for internal and external meetings that are compelling, concise, and graphical to convey message.
Manages the data mart associated with analysis of client profitability, product economics, financial performance, impact of strategic initiatives
Collaborates with product managers, segment owners, pricing managers on strategic programs
Must-Have*
Bachelor's Degree Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, a related field or equivalent experience
10+ Years experience in the Financial Services industry
3+ Years experience in project management and leadership
7+ Years experience in small business and/or business banking
Skills and Knowledge
Colleague typically has four to five years relevant experience with some project lead or three years supervisory experience.
Strong Project Management and Communication
Interpersonal/teamwork skills and effective working with all levels in the organization
Tactical execution and organizational/planning skills
Excellent presentation skills
Possesses leadership and negotiation skills
Experience supporting/working in a financial sales environment
Ability to analyze/solve problems and identify opportunities
Minimum 3 years of basic computer experience required (e.g. MS Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and PowerPoint)
Compensation
Starting base salary: $127,626 - $237,014 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
