Business Analyst-Pervasive Sensing

　　Job Summary

　　The Business Analyst-Pervasive Sensing is an integral member of the Pervasive Sensing Team as part of Pune MSOL, who reports to LE/PE and undertakes SharePoint Management, News Letter Creation, Database Management, Power BI Reporting, Power Point Presentations etc.

　　In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

　　The Business Analyst-Pervasive Sensing in MSOL:

　　SharePoint Management:

　　Creating and editing Solutions Architect SharePoint sites.

　　Managing permissions and access to process flows and templates – content editors vs consumers.

　　Organizing technical content and ensuring a user-friendly interface.

　　Create searchable architecture library

　　Newsletter Creation:

　　Gathering content from Solutions Architects.

　　Writing and editing content provided by Solutions Architect for inclusion in templates.

　　Designing visually appealing technical newsletters based on content provided by engineering teams.

　　Using marketing tools internally to raise awareness;

　　Database Management:

　　Maintaining a database of technical FAQs.

　　Regularly updating and curating content FAQs.

　　Ensuring data accuracy and consistency for architecture library.

　　Power BI Reporting:

　　Creating and customizing Power BI reports.

　　Analysing data and presenting insights visually.

　　Generating reports that are easy to understand and actionable on who is doing what.

　　PowerPoint Presentation Skills:

　　Creating visually appealing and effective PowerPoint presentations based on input from SA Team.

　　Incorporating data and visuals to convey key messages.

　　Ensuring presentations are engaging and align with the Emerson brand.

　　Technical Understanding:

　　Familiarity with technical concepts and terminology but not expert.

　　Ability to communicate effectively with Solutions Architects and other technical teams around the globe.

　　Communication Skills:

　　Strong written and verbal communication skills.

　　Ability to convey information in a clear and understandable manner.

　　Project Management:

　　Organizing and coordinating assigned projects.

　　Managing timelines and deadlines effectively.

　　Collaboration:

　　Working closely with Solutions Architects and other teams to gather relevant content.

　　Collaborating with design and technical teams for content creation.

　　Analytical Skills:

　　Analysing data and performance metrics.

　　Making data-driven decisions for optimization – e,g frequently used docs and architectures.

　　Efficiently managing time and multitasking to meet deadlines.

Has good oral and written skills, follows email etiquetts. Able to conclude or have clear understanding after any discussion.

　　Planning & Organising : Ability for planning and scheduling activities/priorities for ensuring on time work. Helping junior resources in planning and scheduling their work.

　　Productivity : Able to find optimum way to do the job in less than budgeted hours without any defect consistently on different tasks/ activities/ projects
