The Business Analyst selected for this opportunity will be working within Real Estate Technical Services to support daily operations across multiple teams. This dynamic position will require the successful candidate to be comfortable with change, development of new skills, and consistently being self-driven to balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously within prescribed deadlines. This role will report to the new Enterprise Technology Center in Midvale, UT (hybrid in office work schedule available), but an opportunity for 100% remote within the Bank’s primary lending footprint may also be considered.
The Business Analyst:
Provides data analysis to support, compile and report key information for operations and business objectives
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business processes, procedures, and user needs
Has a working knowledge of data visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI
Possesses proficiency in MS Office and SQL
Is responsible to drive processes and improvement initiatives by gathering and documenting business requirements
Performs and participates in the analysis, design and implementation of business processes and procedures following appropriate standards
Analyzes and interprets data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the business and clients
Communicates analyses and interpretations to appropriate audience
Produces, publishes, and distributes operational reports relating to the development and performance of products and processes
Conducts tests or test planning sessions, provides input for feasibility, and prepares user documentation and follow-up evaluation
Acts as a liaison with various departments, management, and staff to resolve problems and improve processes and procedures
Performs project management leadership functions as a project manager or team member
Assists in all phases of third-party vendor risk management life cycle for valuation services vendors
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field and
2-yrs. experience in business process analysis, gathering and documenting business requirements or other directly related experience.
Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and/or process improvement recommendations.
Experience with project methodology.
A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
The location is Zions Technology Center which is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah.
