  The Location: Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad

  The Team: The Internal Product Management (IPM) team is a highly motivated team scaling innovation and building platforms for our Content and Data teams including news, pricing and analytics. We use agile methodologies to drive ongoing delivery, work closely with business and technology partners to share knowledge, embracing change and implementing best-of-breed technology. The Internal Product Management Team for Analytics and Data Science Platforms works closely with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Data Engineers and the Technology teams and other parts of the Commodity Insights organization. The team acts as a bridge between internal customers and Technology to ensure that requirements are captured, prioritized, executed, and delivered to a high quality.

  The Impact: This role will be a key interface between core business and technology teams. Successful candidates will combine an understanding of the S&P Global Commodity Insights business and data with a goal to build capabilities that drive automation, scalability, and innovation across all areas of data engineering, data science, and analytics. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting projects in areas of Data engineering, analysis, and processing. The successful candidate will be able to work well in a team, be highly self-motivated as well as an ability to execute independently.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting teams working on building Data platforms and data processing capabilities in line with the S&P Global Commodity Insights strategic goals.

  Responsibilities: The Internal Product Management team works in close collaboration with many internal stakeholders, both on the business and technical sides, as well as with our internal/external customers to create and deliver the roadmap for data onboarding, processing, and delivery. As a Business Analyst on our IPM team, you are uniquely positioned to be the main point of contact and source of information for internal business requests. Your job is to create the best possible solutions for our internal customers, including:

  Serving as Product Owner on multiple high profile, high impact initiatives for Commodity Insights next generation of data processing platforms

  Working with internal stakeholders to build the roadmap for data onboarding to our Analytics and Data Scienceplatform.

  Supporting new application/project discovery including detailed requirements analysis, document process documentation, scope and objective definition using business cases, business value realization documents and project initiation briefs.

  Capturing technical and business requirements in Agile methodologies (creation of user stories, features and epics), prioritization of those requirements and facilitating any conflict of requirements.

  Constructing workflow diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications, user guides, training materials and release notes

  Ongoing interaction and engagements with Product Owners, stakeholders, and technology partners

  Leading meetings and presentations to report and share ideas and findings.

  Serving as Product Owner for Agile Scrum teams

  Interacting with the Product team to understand and benefit from the standard components that have been developed.

  Become the subject matter expert on data processing,onboarding, and building capabilities to enhance the data pipelines as part of our ongoing roadmap development.

  You will be responsible for reporting health status of the project and providing regular updates via our portfolio management process.

  What We’re Looking For:

  Ahigh-levelunderstanding of data engineering and processing using tools like AWSDatabricks

  A proven track record of delivering projects in collaborative Agile team environments.

  The ability to present to business and technical audiences commanding sufficient subject matter expertise.

  You will be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.

  Basic Qualifications:

  BA/BS in finance, business, or computer science is good to have.

  1+ years of product management experience working with Agile/Scrum using tools like ADO.

  Experience and working knowledge of Agile and Scrum, including understanding of core Agile principles

  Experience working with AWSDatabricks

  High-level understanding of databases and programming

  Understanding of product lifecycles, creating specifications and user stories

  Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users

  Ability to support multiple projects in parallel without guidance

  Proven ability to interface well with IT staff and other non-technical members of the organization.

  A professional, highly dedicated, detail-oriented, and energetic personality, with the ability to work and thrive in a team environment.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Demonstrated ability to create and deliver complex solutions including building platforms.

  Directly related product development work experience.

  Excellent presentation skills.  Ability to take on internal presentation responsibilities.

  Ability to influence at all levels throughout the organization including senior level project sponsors and other key stakeholders.
