Your day-to-day work will include:
The Air Force Acquisition Strategic Planning Division, SAF/AQXP, requires support for collecting, quality control, analyzing, and reporting enterprise performance data pertaining to the military acquisition life cycle. The candidate will develop data collection mechanisms and processes to gather relevant authoritative data efficiently; ensure the quality of source data and derived products; analyze cost, WBS, schedules, Earned Value Management (EVM) data, trends, and other program data; and report results to Air Force leadership. The candidate will develop organizational performance measures and indicators for leadership. In addition, SAF/AQXP requires dedicated administrative support for the Secretary of the Air Force Operational Imperatives (OIs) effort. Admin support would include scheduling meetings, logistics, and engaging with other Action Officers across AQ functional and capability directorates and other offices across the Department of the Air Force.
The candidate will support the planning, developing, and migrating efforts to coordinate all acquisition transformation initiatives and projects. The Enterprise Portfolio Manager will support innovation development in support of Air Force acquisition and sustainment programs. These initiatives may include, but not be limited to, the following topics:
The Secretary of the Air Force Operational Imperatives
Risk assessment and management techniques.
Evaluate and implement a life-cycle requirements management process on up to four acquisition programs at locations to be designated by SAF/AQ, including annual licensing of the selected product and on-site support.
Development of a program tracking and assessment baseline, implementing DoD 5000- series directives.
Experience Requirements:
Mandatory:
6 to 12 years of relevant experience in applying analytic techniques in evaluating project objectives and contributing to implementing strategic direction.
Experience analyzing and applying acquisition policy in program strategy. Experience applying new legislation and policy to determine the impact on existing plans and recommend alternate strategies.
Certification Requirements: N/A
Waiverable/Substitutable: Relevant certifications and training, such as “Lean” and/or “Agile.” The ability to do the job is more important. PMP-ACP or equivalent

Work hours:
Here at Aeyon we believe in creating an environment that fosters a healthy work/ life balance. The typical day consists of a 9-5 Monday-Friday work schedule totaling 40 hours per week, but we do realize that life happens, and things come up. Many of our positions allow some flexibility in the work schedule for unforeseen events so that our employees can maintain a 40-hour work week and still have the opportunity to meet other obligations during the workday.
