  The Business Architecture Center is looking for a Business Analyst 2 who can create opportunities for improvement, lead the development of business requirements, and serve as liaisons between PSERS’ end-users and Bureau of Information Technology staff and third-party system maintenance staff.

  DESCRIPTION OF WORK

  This position is assigned to the Process Support Unit within the System Support Center and is responsible for facilitating process improvements and coordinating system testing, providing training related to new or changed system functionality, and providing business user support. The position assists other more senior analysts with related work and works independently with projects of a more narrow scope with less integrated system components. In this capacity, the position will work to develop a foundational understanding of database structures and relational databases as they pertain to business processes.

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  Full-time employment.

  Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

  Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report to the office a minimum of one day a month. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

  Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  Five years of business process analysis experience;or

  One year as a Business Analyst 1;or

  One year as an Information Technology Trainee;or

  One year of business process analysis experience and a bachelor’s degree;or

  An equivalent combination of experience and training.
