About Business Account Executive

  JOB REQUIREMENTS: Average target compensation \$100k plus, with minimumcommission guarantee JOB SUMMARY The Business Account Executive isresponsible for selling primary and ancillary communications solutionsto small and medium sized businesses within a specified territory.Primary services include coax delivered Internet, video and voice.Ancillary services include custom hosting, desktop security, databack-up, data storage, toll free, additional email addresses, static IPsand more. The AE achieves sales and revenue goals through successfulprospecting for new customers as well as the successful sale of bundledservices to new customers. The AE is responsible for generating allsales leads through a variety of prospecting tactics and working everylead from initial contact to sale. The AE is responsible for thedevelopment and implementation of a Territory Plan (under theinstruction of the Sales Manager) which is designed to expand thecustomer base within their assigned territory. The AE is 100% focused ongenerating new Internet, voice and video customers. MAJOR DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES Actively and consistently support all efforts tosimplify and enhance the customer experience Place orders through ordermanagement software. Work with Account Coordinator in the event theorder cannot be automated to ensure that all necessary administrativework necessary to support sales activities including sales orders,contracts, billing forms and sales reports are accurate and submitted ina timely manner. Hand off customer service and non-sales related clientinquiries to the Customer Service department; focus on selling Have acomplete understanding of Spectrum Business coax services, rates(individual and bundled) and applicable taxes Demonstrate selling skillsand product knowledge. Practice selling skills with other AccountExecutives regularly. Read sales books and take sales courses to learnnew sales techniques; practice and implement new sales techniquesregularly Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospectingactivities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, andfollow-up activities within assigned territory, including the use ofSalesforce.com to maintain accurate records to maximize territorypotential Meet and exceed performance standards as defined by thedepartment Standards of Performance (SOP) and the Spectrum Way SalesModel Attend and participate in sales meetings as established bymanagement REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to read, write, speak and understand English Knowledge ofcommunications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephoneand Internet fundamentals Valid driver\'s license with a satisfactorydriving record Education Bachelor\'s degree in business, marketing orrelated field, or equivalent experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS RelatedWork...
