Shift: 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm)

　　Monday thru Friday, +Weekends as Production Scheduled Requires

　　Pay Rate: $23.50 + $1.00 Shift Differential

　　This position performs duties related to receiving, storing and shipping food products and supplies.

　　The individual must possess communication skills, and the ability to deal with people. Must be able to work effectively in subzero temperatures and at heights up to 40 feet. Must be able to climb up and down a stepladder and reach up above. The individual is required to work in a team environment in the workplace.

　　All team members must abide by all of Burke's Plant Safety Rules!

　　RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Performing the following tasks in the distribution department

　　Performs duties related to receiving, storing & shipping food products & supplies

　　Ships & receives outbound and inbound goods

　　Responsible for warehouse organization and cleanliness

　　Responsible for organizing & straightening up all aspects of the freezer, coolers, and docks

　　Load & unloads trucks

　　Stacks & secures items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment

　　Assembles & moves product into and out of coolers and freezers

　　Takes care of rendering

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　18 years or older

　　6 months of work history

　　Operating a Walkie Pallet Jack (training will be provided)

　　Operating a Rider Pallet Jack (training will be provided)

　　Operating a Standup Counterbalanced (training will be provided)

　　Operating a Turret Truck (training will be provided)

　　Operating a Order Picker (training will be provided)

　　Operating a Reach truck (training will be provided)

　　Operating a Sit Down Counterbalanced (training will be provided)

　　Must be able to work effectively in subzero temperatures

　　Must be able to work at heights up to 40 feet

　　Ability to work in an environment that is fast paced

　　Lift up to 50 lbs.

　　Standing, walking, pushing, lifting, bending, stepping up and down

　　Working in a team environment in the workplace

　　Following good manufacturing practices (GMP’s)

　　Basic Math skills

　　Perform any and all duties as assigned by Lead/Supervisor
