FTE: 0.400000 Shift: 1 (Wednesday and Friday, withOccasional Weekends; hours vary from 6:30am - 4:30pm) Job Summary: ThePatient Access Service Representative (PASR) Senior follows theFroedtert and the Medical College Performance Excellence CustomerService Standards. Greets and arrives patients. Verifies and updatesdemographic information. Collects monies for copays, supplies, andservices rendered. Balances daily cash collections. Obtains patientsignatures. Assists patients with ancillary appointment scheduling andforms. Schedules, cancels, and reschedules patient appointments. Answersand directs telephone calls. Under general supervision, supportsoperations of the clinic for organization and productivity incollaboration with leadership. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 2years of prior receptionist/clerical experience or comparable educationand training experience is required. Experience preferred: A minimum of3 years of prior informal or formal leadership experience preferred.Experience in a medical/healthcare setting is preferred. EDUCATIONDESCRIPTION: High School diploma or equivalent is required. SPECIALSKILLS DESCRIPTION: Excellent communication, oral and written arerequired. Effective customer service skills to effectively deal withinternal and external customers is required. Ability to use standardoffice equipment: copier, computer terminal, document scanner andprinter, fax machine and multi-line telephone. Strong proactiveorganizational skills a must. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlookand Word. Knowledge of medical terminology and EpicCare is preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
