　　Come and join our team at this 605-room convention center hotel in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Our luxury hotel is located next to the Paycom Center(OKC Thunder), the Oklahoma Convention Center and across the street from the 70-acre Scissortail Park.

　　The property includes an all-day dining outlet (Seltzer's Modern Diner), an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House), specialty restaurant (Bob's Steak & Chop House), coffee shop (Park Grounds) and a retail outlet (RareBird Gift Shop). Additionally, guests can enjoy a Mokara Spa, fitness center and a rooftop pool and bar (CatBird Seat) complete with a fire pit, outdoor lawn and cabanas. The hotel offers 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space inclusive of a 20,000 square foot ballroom, 10,000 square foot ballroom, and a 4,200 square foot outdoor pre-function space that overlooks the park.

　　Job Description

　　An amazing opportunity to be a pivotal part of the Engineering team for the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel. This will be a true outdoor recreation, entertainment and culinary destination paying homage to the heritage and modern progress of the city. With 605 guest rooms and suites, the luxury hotel will showcase views of the 70-acre Scissortail Park and the downtown skyline with 78,000 square feet of meeting and event space, tap house, modern diner, rooftop pool, lobby bar, coffee shop and a retail outlet.

　　The class 3 engineer will ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel environment while providing excellent customer service.

　　Responsibilities

　　Perform CARE, PRP (Guest room preventative maintenance), Public Area maintenance and select Equipment preventative maintenance to the specifications required by Omni in both quantity and quality.

　　Receive direction from engineering management on daily assignments or projects and complete within the time and manner specified or in accordance with hotel needs.

　　Receive direction for house calls via radio and respond promptly and appropriately.

　　Ability to properly prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.

　　Understand and be able to receive and update work requests from the work request system (Synergy).

　　Complete appropriate documents and logs for work assigned on a daily basis or as a project.

　　Assist engineers and mechanics with repairs and learn while helping with those repairs.

　　Embrace all learning and training opportunities.

　　Willing to learn and understand the Omni fire alarm procedures and how to handle other emergencies.

　　Willing to learn and understand the Standards of Practice for the Engineering Department.

　　Willing to learn and understand the importance of Lock out Tag out, the dangers of arc flashes and other precautions that need to be taken around equipment.

　　Able to understand the importance of cleaning all work areas after completing a job and have the habit of doing so.

　　Able to maintain engineering shops in a clean and organized manner.

　　Able to maintain engineering parts and supplies inventory.

　　Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by manager

　　Aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible)

　　Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications.

　　Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.

　　Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.

　　Qualifications

　　Must have great person to person interaction capabilities and a great personality

　　Excellent customer service skills required

　　Must be able to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion.

　　Be able to use drills, hammers, knives, wrenches, ladders, screwdrivers, welding tools, blow torch, desktop computer, printer, telephone, fax, copier, telephone, hand-help communications devices, all other appropriate supplies and equipment

　　Prior skills or experience that is relevant to building maintenance, preferably in a full service hotel environment

　　Be able to fully understand, read and write in the English language

　　Must live within 50 miles of the hotel
