Business Systems Analyst Role

100% Remote
Uses knowledge of company technology and business processes to identify opportunities to further leverage the technology within the business.
Consult with business units to perform analysis to create business cases for medium risk projects.
Manage requirements process end to end for low to mid-risk corporate projects with intermediate support with facilitating requirement sessions, system functionality research, elicitation of requirements, documentation of requirements based on project methodology (business/functional requirements or epics/user stories), and facilitate review and approval of requirements
Act as the subject matter expert for business partners on SDLC process and solicit approval of SDLC documentation as needed.
Occasionally participates in the development and management of project plans related to the application development initiatives.
Manages the change control process for assigned projects.
Reviews requirements, specifications, test documentation, implementation, support, training and maintenance plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives on projects.
Aids in the remediation of defects encountered during QA and UAT testing.
Primary contact for researching root-cause and facilitating resolution of production errors for assigned projects
Assist with the management of enhancement requests including triage and eliciting requirements.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience supporting projects related to process improvements.
Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Strong analytical skills and understanding of quantitative and statistical analysis
Intermediate situational analysis and decision making abilities
Intermediate understanding of the business intelligence domain
The ability to act as liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data constraints to the business
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
Basic knowledge of SQL or querying methodologies
High level of computer literacy and knowledge of PeopleSoft CRM
Preferred Qualifications include:
Project Management Experience, PMP Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related discipline or combination of education and experience.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
Basic Knowledge of Atlassian Tools Suite – JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr
