Redrock Construction Inc., is a specialty bridge contractor that has provided construction services for private and public agencies in Central Pennsylvania and the surrounding area since 1980. At Redrock, we provide single-span bridges, box culverts, precast & cast in place bridges, and drainage structures. On each project, we maintain relationships with the owner, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure our work is performed with quality and efficiency. The Bridge Superintendent will supervise, coordinate, schedule, and oversee employees, equipment, and subcontractors on bridge construction and rehabilitation projects. The Bridge Superintendent will proactively anticipate staffing, materials, and equipment requirements for efficient project execution while upholding stringent safety standards. Your role encompasses the coordination of diverse aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed within budget, adhering to timelines, and maintaining a focus on safety. A strong background in PennDOT and extensive project management is crucial.
Essential Functions
Primary Responsibilities
Know, implement, and enforce company safety policies and practices.Know, implement, and enforce company policies."Own" the assigned projects.Develop and implement a plan to meet project requirements.Develop and communicate daily plans.Manage all on-site activities.Lead and manage direct reports.Collaborate with supervisors of supporting crews.Interact effectively with project management staff.Develop and maintain effective relationships with owner agency staff.Engage with management to secure the necessary people, equipment, and tools for the project.Maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders---company management, project owner staff, suppliers, subcontractors, fellow employees, the public, etc.Ensure project quality meets requirements.Pursue meeting the project budget.Keep and maintain all necessary project records.Additional duties as assigned.Position Competencies

Required Skills

Qualifications
Required
Preferably a degree in engineering, construction management, or related fieldPossess a valid driver's license with a clean driving historyMinimum of 5 years' management experience in overseeing substantial projects, with a focus on PennDOT projects
