C and B Equipment, a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 30 years to include John Deere Ag, material handling and power sports locations has an opening for a Branch Manager at one of its material handling locations in Hiawatha, Iowa. The Branch Manager oversees the overall operations of the branch which includes sales, parts, rental and service, and works closely with Regional Managers to grow the business, provide exceptional customer service, and engage employees to be the best in the business.
Essential Duties:
Leads the development and deployment of a comprehensive strategic business plan which integrates the business' values, mission, resources, and goalsFacilitates the hiring, development, evaluation, and effectiveness of the management teamOversees the evaluation, allocation, and management of human, physical and financial resourcesCoordinates and delegates management activities through the management teamEnsures appropriate communications take place throughout the organization and chairs regular management staff meetings, business review meetings, etcExercises appropriate decision-making authority to ensure the organization moves forward in implementing the business plan and achieving its objectivesImplements sound business practices and processes to achieve the Business' objectivesEnsures the Business' reputation and image in the community is consistent with its objectivesSales equipment along with the rest of the sales team```{=html}
```- Three to five years management experience in the industrial service industry preferably in heavy equipment- Excellent communication skills- Valid DMV record- Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
