Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Avon, Ohio, 44035-2810, United States. This role involves handling data entry of Accounts Payable, bi-weekly payroll, and Accounts Receivable. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of tasks including entering invoices, processing payroll, posting payments, and maintaining financial records using software like Sage and Paycore.

Responsibilities:

• Manage data entry tasks, including entering invoices and maintaining electronic files

• Process bi-weekly payroll for a medium-sized team, including managing hours, garnishments, deductions, and calculating any changes

• Handle Accounts Receivable responsibilities, including posting payments

• Work on Accounts Payable tasks, handling around 20-30 invoices daily for vouchering/data entry

• Utilize tools such as a 10-key, scanner, printer, and Outlook for various tasks

• Use Microsoft Excel for basic functions

• Work with Sage and Paycore software for various tasks

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to handle bank reconciliations

• Solid bookkeeping skills

• Proficiency in data entry

• Experience with Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with payroll processes

• Proficiency in Sage Software
