Description We are in search of a meticulous Bookkeeper with a focus on credit management for our expanding construction business in GREELEY, Colorado. This role involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining credit records, and handling credit-related inquiries. This contract role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, where you will be a key player in financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records

• Handle customer inquiries related to credit applications and records

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly

• Take necessary actions to collect delinquent payments when required

• Perform account reconciliations regularly

• Handle accounts payable and receivable

• Conduct bank reconciliations as part of regular duties

• Perform data entry tasks related to bookkeeping

• Use Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for various accounting tasks

• Perform credit card reconciliations as part of regular duties. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a bookkeeping role within the construction or contractor industry

• Proficiency in account reconciliation, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR)

• Experience with bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliation

• Proficient in bookkeeping practices and principles

• Skilled in data entry with a high level of accuracy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and financial reporting

• Experience with QuickBooks for managing accounts and financial transactions

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain financial records

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with contractors, vendors, and internal teams

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines

• High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
