Description We are seeking a Bookkeeper with great interpersonal skills and a background in accounting to join our team. Offered as a long-term contract / temporary to hire position, this role is based in the Savannah, Georgia region. 　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits

　　Preside over and review general ledger

　　Monitor accounts by balancing entries

　　Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

　　Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts

　　Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

　　Maintain quality historical records by filing documents Requirements - BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

　　2+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper

　　Solid understanding of account reconciliation

　　Bank Account Reconciliation experience required

　　Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Client communications experience highly desired

　　Foundational knowledge in customer service

　　Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired
