JOB REQUIREMENTS: SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direction of the PCDSupervisor, setups up and operates the surface grinding machine & EDGmachine performing a variety of machine operations includingpreventative maintenance, daily process control checks. PRINCIPALRESPONSIBLITIES: Visually inspects product for unacceptable cloggedholes or insert gap on tools. Visually inspects product for unacceptabledefects after blasting and look for any brazing defects. Is responsiblefor correct condition of blasting and Inspection of every tool. Maintainsafe working conditions and cleanliness of work areas at all times.SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Ability to read, understand and follow writteninstructions such as S.O.P.\'s, work instructions, technical documents,and manufacturing prints. Ability to perform written communicationKnowledge of industrial cutting tools (e.g. drills, end mills, etc.)preferred, or related industry is desirable. Strong mechanical aptitudewith ability to use basic hand tools. Previous experience with basicmachine operation. Ability to calculate appropriate machine settings andadjust accordingly.
