  Description Position at Lifespark Birchwood Health Care Center, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, is looking for dedicated and passionate Business office assistant and receptionist to join our growing team. Birchwood Health Care Centeris home to seniors requiring TCU (Transitional Care Unit) Care and Long-Term Care. We are in Forest Lake, near North Shore Dr and Forest Lake. We have been helping seniorsAge Magnificentlysince 1979 and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit supporting seniors. We are seeking a Business Office Assistant/Receptionist Location: Birchwood Health Care Center - 750 NE 1stStreet - Forest Lake, MN 55025 Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30a-4pm, occasionalweekends Wage: $17.50-$22.50 an hour, depending on experience. Responsible for overall management of payroll and personnel functions, benefits, accounts payable, and general administration support for facility. Essential Job Functions Manage and process invoices and required reporting with payables systems. Manage and maintain employee information in the payroll and health benefits systems. Manage and maintain all personnel records, employee medical records, and mandatory periodic reports in accordance with company retention policies and procedures. Assist with maintenance of resident trust. Answer phone, greet visitors and provide direction and assistance in a friendly and helpful manner. Must be adaptable, flexible to changes, and able to prioritize and organize work efficiently to accomplish workload within time allotted. Maintain a positive attitude in relation to customer service program. Comply with established safety rules and regulations. Promptly reports accidents, incidents, and unsafe and hazardous conditions/equipment to supervisor. Understand, comply with, and promote all rules regarding resident's rights. Abide by the facility's policies, procedures and practices. Participate in and support Quality efforts throughout the facility. Attend meetings and mandatory in-services. Knowledge and adherence to safety/disaster preparedness plan. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families and employees. Must possess proficient computer skills, including email use.
