With 22,000 clients, including93% of the Fortune 100, and 32,000 employees across 28 countries, RRDbrings the expertise, execution, and scale designed to transform customertouchpoints into meaningful moments of impact.Job DescriptionAssist Bindery Operators by setting up and maintaining major or complexbinding equipment (i.e. ink jet and mailing devices, power folders andpower collators, power cutters, speed binder, in-line cover-inserterwith four-knife trimmer)Interprets job orders for this equipment, plans necessary operations, andsets up and adjusts equipmentMonitor equipment during operations to ensure tolerances are being maintainedMake adjustments as necessaryPerform daily maintenance duties such as cleaning machinery to remove paperdust and lint, check pumps and other operating parts for properlubrication, and lubricate equipment as neededQualificationsUnder the direction of the operator, apply working knowledge assist in theset-up of more complicated binding machineryAbility to make machine adjustments for differences in paper size orthickness, hole or margin distances, paper folds or other workrequirements or material characteristicsKnowledge of basic arithmetic and fractionsAbility to apply such knowledge while accurately locating materials on machinesurfacesSkill in using hand tools (i.e. rulers, screwdrivers, wrenches) tomake machine adjustmentsAbility to set up, arrange, and hand collate as well as to fan, jog andstack various sizes of paper neatlyGeneral knowledge to set up and maintain a variety of single function, handand foot automated bindery machines, such as staplers, punches, drillsand binding-glue devicesAdditional InformationThepay range for this role is $16.00 - $19.50 / hour.
