Job Description:

As a Billing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Accounts Receivable department. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the billing process accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely invoicing and collection of payments from our clients.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including billing, collections, and account reconciliation.

• Create and send customer invoices, statements, and other financial documents.

• Communicate with clients to address billing inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely billing processes.

• Maintain updated records of accounts receivable transactions and customer interactions.

• Perform accurate account reconciliations.

• Monitor customer accounts for any irregularities or payment delays.

• Maintain organized billing files and records.

• Maintain customer information.

• Other duties may be assigned, as needed, or required.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Strong proficiency in Mathematics required.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of billing or relevant experience, preferably within the construction/service industry.

• Familiarity with AIA and construction billing requirements.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with a collaborative approach.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.

• Sedona Software experience a plus.
