Position Summary
A Brief Overview Assists with processing, insurance verification and authorization, revenue cycle management, compliance and documentation, as well as customer service and issue resolution. Provides support in ensuring accurate billing, efficient revenue flow, and compliance with regulations. What you will do
Defines workflows, procedures, software analysis and maintenance, and implementation of processes and communication plans for the Billing team.
Performs invoice analysis to identify errors, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings to contribute to the company's overall revenue and profitability targets.
Communicates with Accounts Payable to investigate unusual charge trends, determine corrective actions, and work with the team to help implement a remedial action plan.
Identifies and implements automation processes and billing improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Maintains tracking system for all billing activity throughout all levels of appeals while maintaining compliance with the company's regulatory, safety, quality, and confidentiality protocols and standards.
Prepares and sends reports weekly to Chief Compliance Officer, VP Revenue Cycle, Medical Director Utilization Management, Director of Case Management, and others as assigned.
Provides support to the Corporate Compliance Officer in timely detection, response, investigation, analysis, and applicable corrective action pertaining to any compliance matter.
Assists with the development and implementation of compliance training and education programs.
Exercises as a point of contact for company employees regarding potential compliance concerns and questions.
Required Qualifications
Minimum one year of experience in medical billing or collections, accounts payable, or accounts receivable.- Minimum one year of experience working with healthcare reimbursement systems.- Excellent customer service orientation.- Attention to details and excellent time management skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.For this role you will need Minimum Requirements

The typical pay range for this role is:
$17.00 - $29.88
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
